Just as most GOP anti establishment supporters feared, Mike Dewine is a Supporter of John Kasich and most fear his winning the May 2018 primary would ensure a third Kasich term in policy and lack of leadership to right the ship in Ohio that was abandoned my Mr Kasich 3 years ago. Dewine Supported Kasich in the Presidential Primary all the way down to the RNC held in Cleveland last year.
John Husted was also asked directly on video if he supported President Trump and his response was "I'm Not a Fan, Not a Fan". This goes against the nearly 80% of voting republicans in the state who still support the President.
Jim Renacci has supported the president since early 2016 well before the Ohio Primary for president and still supports "more than 90%" of Mr Trump's thoughts on how this country should be steered today.
Renacci has also said that Mr Kasich quit on the people of the state of Ohio more than 3 years ago when he decided to run for president, leaving the state "to Drift" to where are now, #1 in opiod Addiction and Death, 37th in Job Creation and the #8 State in people leaving to relocate.
DeWine Running this state would give us the feel of a Kasich third term as most of Ohio's recent problems like Sanctuary Cities and the Opioid Crisis have happened under the watch of the current Attorney General, Dewine. Renacci also said "The issue is simple, if you like where Ohio is and is headed, you may like a candidate like Mike DeWine. If you want something better and a better direction for Ohio, it's people, our business climate and a better Ohio for Future generations, then you need to vote Renacci for Governor"
